Our Story

Namunyak Impact Group is an avenue for women and youth to become self-sufficient. The company began in 2026, when founder Michelle Giblin travelled to Kenya and connected with a community of care facilities for young Maasai women. The women in the homes received care for themselves and their children while they worked to develop skills and raise money for their education. Witnessing their efforts moved Michelle to present a new opportunity and share their work. During her time with the women in the care facilities, one of the Maasai women blessed her with the title Namunyak, meaning “the lucky one.” The moment inspired the start of a company that would give artisans the opportunities and resources to chase a future of their own making. Namunyak Impact Group exists to help women gain the resources and learn the skills they need to rely on their own work once they graduate from care facilities. The company will partner with women and organizations such as Helping Hands and the Smallest Seed in Narok. Though it has Kenyan roots, Michelle intends for Namunyak Impact Group to connect artisans to markets worldwide. Through life coaching, artisan partnerships, and ethical manufacturing, Namunyak Impact Group gives women and youth a voice and a choice in their futures.

The Heart of Namunyak Impact Group
Namunyak Impact Group was founded by Michelle Giblin with a clear calling: to build a global enterprise that empowers, equips, and elevates. Our work spans three interconnected pillars:

Coaching and Personal Transformation
We provide faith‑centered coaching that helps women reclaim clarity, confidence, and purpose. Through storytelling, mindset work, and practical tools, we guide individuals into the next chapter of their lives with intention and courage.

Artisan Partnerships
We collaborate with artisans—beginning in Kenya—to create sustainable income opportunities through handcrafted goods. Every basket, textile, or product carries a story of resilience, heritage, and hope.

Ethical Manufacturing and Food Production
We support small‑batch, ethically produced goods that create jobs, strengthen communities, and build long‑term economic independence. Our model ensures dignity at every step of the supply chain. Together, these pillars form a movement.

Namunyak Impact Group got its name from a Maasai word that founder Michelle Giblin encountered during her travels in Narok. In 2025, she traveled to Kenya and connected with a community of care facilities for young Maasai women. The women in the homes receive care for themselves and their children while they work to develop skills and raise money for their education. During Michelle’s time there, one of the women blessed her with the title namunyak, meaning “the lucky one.” The moment became the spark that launched an international mission to empower women to chase a future of their own making.
